Darren Thomas Appointed as Women’s Head Coach

Jersey Cricket is pleased to announce the appointment of Darren Thomas as Head Coach. Known as Ted, he brings an impressive coaching record with Western Storm, Glamorgan Academy and as the National Coach of Wales. He was also an accomplished professional cricketer with a career spanning 10 years with Essex and Glamorgan.

Paul Hutchison, Interim Director of Cricket said “I am delighted that Ted has accepted the role and he joins us at a fantastic time for Jersey Cricket, we are setting up our programme to achieve our long term ambitions and Ted is the first piece of that jigsaw. Ted is highly respected and experienced, I am extremely confident that the players will develop well under his leadership”.
