Jersey women to Middlesex

As part of the Jersey Cricket & Middlesex CC partnership, four of the women's national squad players will be travelling to London later this week to take part in high performance training sessions.

Captain Chloe Greechan will be joined by Charlie Miles, Trinity Smith and Flo Tanguy who will be training with Middlesex senior squad on Thursday night before taking part in a session with the Sunrisers Academy on the Friday night. The players will also join the Sunrisers senior women's squad for an S&C session on Friday afternoon.

Jersey Performance Manager and Women's Head Coach, Lee Meloy said “we are delighted to finally be able to get over and begin this partnership. It was agreed in early 2020 but COVID-19 put a stop to any possibility of travel. The opportunities off island will be vital to ensuring the women's national squad are exposed to elite cricket. The squad will also be travelling to play Middlesex Development at the end of July for the Brooks Macdonald Trophy”.
